All my life, as long as I could remember, all I dreamed about was becoming a professional entertainer. I began writing songs at the age of 5 years old and performed in plays in school from the first grade. I was blessed with a natural soprano voice from 4th grade and was thrilled to see the Temptations and the Miracles at the age of 13 at the Howard Theater in Washington DC. My High School group called the Sounds of Love went on to win the Howard theater Talent Show and audition for Dionne Warrick in 1971. In 1973, I met Harold Melvin who was in search of a Blue Note and would later sign me and take me to London to open with his group which featured the greatest lead singer of all times in my opinion, Mr. Theodore (Teddy) Pendergrass, who today is still like a big brother to me.

Our band consisted of Muslims who were very disciplined and very respectful. I would listen to them and finally decided to represent them by wearing a bow tie on the "To Be True" album in 1974. The album became our first gold album that year and has now become a platinum LP. I began studying the bible and the Koran while in the group. In 1976 the Nation of Islam fell away from the teachings of Mr. Elijah Muhammad  after his passing. I eventually became a student and minister of the Nation of Islam. But as God is my witness, one day I heard the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and I excepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and was Baptized into Christ and today I am lead by His Spirit. I have witnessed over the last 12 years that truth is mocked not only by the antichrist outside of the church but there are mockers and doubters  in and out of the Church. My mission today is to lift up the word of God and the name of Christ Jesus. Our aim is to empower, motivate and to make known the Rule of God in this earth  through His living Body His Church..
